On Thursday night (6th Aug) from 7pm (UK) onwards Drips and Runs will be streaming their latest live paint, but this time there is an exciting and maybe slightly dangerous difference.

Previously the live streams have been done under controlled conditions and in a secret location behind closed doors, but for this one they have decided to break cover and expose themselves to the live audience experience. Ali Hamish, Amara Por Dios, Pang and The Real Dil will be painting the white wall inside a busy Juno Bar in East London and you can watch the events unfold HERE, or you can go down and enjoy the paint, music and promised giveaways, or just to get your face on camera if that's your thing.

As the government elections take hold of the UK on May 7th, a foolish oversight by the people in power has come to the nation’s attention, they picked the same day to send us to the polling stations as Mau Mau had decided to open the doors on his latest show "Power To The Sheeple".. what on earth were they thinking?

A long-time political and social commentator Mau Mau will have a collection of work to present that questions authority using the powerful tools of graffiti, art and humour. There will be installations, affordable hand painted editions on canvas, large works I can't afford, prints and maybe some beer.

The show will, as his last London outing, be held at the impressive space that is the London West Bank Gallery. This 3 day pop up show opens with a PV at 6.30 on the 7th (if you are not on the list then you better get on it)

artbleat will be on hand to capture the whole event, drink some of that beer and maybe also return home with a competitively priced Riot Fox canvas.

Below you can see some images to whet your appetite and below that a whole bag of links that might come in handy.

Update:19/04

Just added some images from the opening night party to the artbleat gallery. HERE

The show is on until May 23rd if you can get down then do, it's worth seeing.

Right I'd better get this written up, can't turn up empty handed at the PV without a post on this show.

Snub23 has a solo show opening on Friday 17th April at The Ben Oakley Gallery in Greenwich. The reason I'm excited about this event is I can't recall Snub doing a solo show in my neck of the woods before, either I've missed the previous events or there haven't been any. I've seen Snub's work at various group shows over the years including Banksy's cans festival back in 2008, seen his work on walls in London and Brighton, owned and sold a few canvases and still have a Hammerstein on the artbleat office wall. I should really have asked him for a few words but as usual I left things too late even though I know Snub has been in London this week in preparation for the opening, decorating the gallery and also managing to escape to other parts of London to paint up a wall with @londongraffiti

Snub will be bringing some of his stencil work to south London along with some sketches and drawings that aim to show he's more than just a Graffiti legend. There will be some freebies for early comers and some top quality booze from Dark Star brewery.

I will, without doubt be taking some photos and updating this post as soon as I sober up.

If you want to come along then it's 6.30 doors, HERE is the Ben Oakley Gallery website.

London Based Graffiti legend Sweet Toof has some more little boxes of art available on his Big Cartel site.

Following on from the Ruffneck boxes last year, Sweet Box contains 10 original 6" x 4" drawings formed with, acrylic, ink, enamel and spraypaint. There is no edition size mentioned so as before they will disappear as quick as they appeared, I guess that will be when Sweet toof has had enough of making them.

Available now for £125 .. Have a look HERE

On the stroke of 8pm UK (09:00 PM CET) on Wednesday 8th (that's tonight) we will see our friends over at Streetart.NL drop an exclusive print from Dutch street art duo TelmoMiel.

TelmoMiel consists of the creative minds of Telmo Pieper (Rotterdam, 1989) and Miel Krutzmann (Amsterdam, 1984). The two artists originally met at the Willem de Kooning Academy where they studied from 2006-2010. Since 2007 the duo have worked together creating murals and painting walls across Europe.

The print "A Glove Story" takes the form of a photographic image of a wall painted by the artists during the Walls Talk International Graffiti Meeting in Sabadell, Spain 2014.

Go Here to watch the clock tick down and to make a Purchase.

Alexandre Farto aka Vhils had the opening night party (it's not called a PV at Laz anymore) for his Dissonance show in London last Thursday and artbleat crashed the door with camera in hand only to instantly be reminded how problematic it is to get good shots of the work when the house is packed.

There were no new ideas in the form of experimentation presented by Vhils, but that was not what was expected the work on show was large, varied, dirty and satisfied us, as long time admirers of his work.

Known for his large street work which involves chipping and carving out faces from freshly rendered walls Vhils has moved his craft into the galley with bleach screen prints, acid etched metal, carvings on doors, paper and a for this show at Lazarides beautiful a polystyrene piece that hits you as you walk in the door.

This show is the final leg of what could be described as a European tour, allegedly there will not be any more Vhils shows for a long time. So if you are in London have a look it's worth it, if not then there are a few photos HERE from the opening night.
