London: Otto Schade and Danny O'Connor - Distorted Facade.

By Harry, May 30 2017 01:55PM

Well Hung gallery in London's Hoxton is currently playing host to both Chilean artist Otto Schade and Liverpool based Danny O'Connor. The pair have put together a joint exhibition of works under the title of Distorted Facade.

Being a predominantly portrait based show Otto has worked with his ribbon style to create faces and characters made up of strips of vibrant colour, but if you look close enough you will find he's managed to sneak in some of his silhouette style pieces that are a regular sight in the streets of the surrounding areas. .

Danny is someone that fell off my radar for a while so it's a delight to see him back, painting walls and bringing some more anarchic and looser pieces to the gallery than the work I previously associated with him. Particularly the resin covered pieces "They Seek Him Here" that hang either side of the gallery window.

The exhibition runs until 30th June at Well Hung Gallery, 239 Hoxton Street, London. N1 5LG
